Vanessa Velasquez

Vanessa Velasquez, Director of Event Services, oversees the planning and execution of ATRA’s Powertrain Expo and the Technical Seminar Program. Vanessa first began her career at ATRA in 1998 in the Membership Department, and in 2005 was given the opportunity to switch her role to Events. She enjoys planning events so much, she recently made the decision to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree and is currently taking classes towards her major in Recreation, Tourism and Hospitality at the California State University in Northridge, California. Vanessa resides in Ventura, California with her husband Shaun – who is also employed by ATRA as the Tech Department’s Project Manager – and their two children, Isaac (15) and Sofia (7).
