SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY — August 19, 2026 — Whatever It Takes Transmission Parts, Inc. (WIT) is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of WIT Shudder Stop, a low-friction transmission additive designed to help reduce transmission and torque converter shudder and promote smoother transmission operation.
Available exclusively through WIT, Shudder Stop is now in production and will be available soon. Transmission professionals can contact their WIT sales representative to learn more about product availability.
WIT Shudder Stop (Part No. WM465HA) is formulated as a friction reducer designed to increase lubrication during transmission operation, helping promote smooth engagement of clutch plates and friction bands. Its lubricity is also engineered to reduce wear and help extend the life of internal transmission components.
Shudder Stop is designed for use with a wide range of automatic transmission fluids and will not clog filters or increase fluid viscosity. It is compatible with ATF applications except CVT, DCT and Ford Type F fluids. The formulation is also designed not to harm seals or gasket materials and uses non-hazardous materials.
