TEMPE, Ariz. — July 27, 2026 — Small business owners often turn to personal savings or credit cards when they need cash to cover expenses or fuel growth. Flute, an ATRA Preferred Supplier, wants to change that.
Flute has partnered with Jaris, an embedded finance platform, to introduce Working Capital and Instant Payouts directly within the Flute payments platform.
Working Capital allows merchants to apply for funding from the same dashboard they use to manage payments, deposits and reporting. Funding decisions leverage transaction history already available through Flute, while bank-approved loans are supported by Jaris, which brings more than $1 billion in capital capacity to the offering.
Instant Payouts provide faster access to money merchants have already earned, allowing them to receive a portion of their current-day sales—including on weekends and holidays—instead of waiting for the standard deposit cycle.
According to Flute’s surveys, 39.5% of shop owners needed additional cash in the past year, while 54.3% relied on personal savings or credit cards.
With these new tools, Flute is turning payment data into practical financial solutions designed around how small businesses actually operate.
