MIAMI — GFX has announced that it is manufacturing its own friction plates, expanding its in-house capabilities within the automatic transmission parts category.
The announcement reflects GFX’s continued focus on supporting the aftermarket automotive industry with drivetrain replacement parts and transmission components. Headquartered in Miami, Florida, GFX manufactures and distributes a full range of specialty transmission parts, with product categories that include transmission kits, hard parts, bushings and bushing kits, cooling systems, friction plates, filters, electrical components, and more.
As part of the rollout, GFX will provide product information to help customers identify the different friction plates and understand where they fit within the broader transmission parts catalog. The company also plans to use customer feedback and acceptance as part of its continued product development and support process.
GFX has served the aftermarket transmission parts industry for more than 60 years and continues to operate across manufacturing, product development, testing, warehousing, and distribution.
