(WIT) is proud to announce that it is now a remanufacturer of TEHCM (Transmission Electronic Hydraulic Control Module) units, bringing cutting-edge remanufacturing capabilities and unmatched quality assurance to its customers.
All TEHCM units remanufactured by WIT are carefully stripped and cleaned in a state-of-the-art ultrasonic cleaner. Each pressure switch is thoroughly checked for proper function, and all lenses and rubber seals are replaced with new components to ensure maximum reliability.
The final phase of WIT’s remanufacturing process sets it apart from the competition. Each unit is loaded into a WIT-exclusive tester that cycles the solenoids multiple times using heated transmission oil—rather than compressed air, as commonly done in the industry. “Our TEHCMs are run in heated transmission fluid, unlike other companies that test with compressed air,” says Bill Anthony, Director of Reman Operations. “Testing in oil provides a far more accurate and reliable performance evaluation.”
