Eliminate the flexing/bowing of the clutch pack in Chrysler 845RE, 850RE, ZF8HP45, ZF8HP50, ZF8HP51 transmissions that leads to comebacks by installing the thicker, stiffer Sonnax heavy duty “A” clutch backing plate #35577-45. This backing plate is easy to install, and no special tools or machining are required. Prevent comebacks by installing in units that have not yet failed.
