ETE REMAN Expands Production of 8-Speed Transmissions, Keeping Best-Selling Units In Stock and Ready to Ship

Milwaukee, WI — ETE REMAN announced expanded production of its family of 8L45 8-speed remanufactured transmissions. ETE’s 8L45s now join the popular 8L90s in stock, so now their best-selling 8-speed units are all in stock and ready for immediate shipment. The increased availability helps repair shops reduce downtime, speed up installs, and get vehicles back on the road faster.

Engineered for Consistency

To support higher output without sacrificing quality, ETE REMAN launched a comprehensive training initiative ahead of the production ramp-up. Engineering worked onsite with production to overhaul work instructions and standardize processes across the line, ensuring consistent builds and quality.

Every transmission is assembled using Atlas Copco DC torque tools on all fasteners, delivering precise, repeatable torque and consistent clamping force for improved reliability. Targeted valve body and hydraulic system updates address common 8-speed concerns, such as line pressure runaway and shift quality, while all solenoids are tested using ETE REMAN’s proprietary, temperature-controlled in-house equipment.

Before shipping, each unit is dyno tested using an automated shift program that simulates real-world driving conditions.
