A+1 Transmission Specialists Celebrate 45 Years!

Ed Doyle is a man who believes in hard work. He also believes in having a good time! We caught-up with Ed at his shop’s 45th anniversary shindig on August 18th and had a ton of fun doing it. Citizens and friends from all over South Texas came out to celebrate the continued success of Ed and his team. Live music was provided by Exit 505 Band, sausage wraps cooked up by NAPA, the heat was beat with Kona ice, and the local kids enjoyed a water slide!

Judging by the great turnout, it’s clear that the Kerrville, TX community supports A+1 Transmission Specialists. And that feeling is mutual. Ed gave away more than $4,500 worth of auto work through an incredible raffle. When asked about the other ways that they’ve engaged their neighborhood Ed had this to say: “We’ve kept the community in mind. We really do want to help people. We do what we can for the local schools, support programs through sponsorships, and give cars we’ve fixed-up to families in need though our Cars for Christmas program. Making sure we treat our employees fairly so they want to part of the team is essential. All of this only happens through teamwork. It’s a team effort with our families, our staff, and the community.”

We know the world looks a little different now nearly 5 decades later, but the practices of doing good business haven’t changed. 45 years in the industry have been hard won. Ed said the secret to success is “Perseverance. Don’t give up! Just treat people the way you want to be treated.” That resonates with us here at ATRA. Our Golden Rule Warranty program speaks for itself. A+1 Transmission Specialists’ motto is “We’re here to help”. Ed stands by that, and so do we. You can visit with Ed and his crew at the ATRA Powertrain Expo in Nashville October 25th-29th! Congrats to Ed Doyle, Ms. Mary Doyle, and the whole team at A+1 Transmission Specialists on 45 years of successfully helping their community!
