Ricardo Alvarez recently completed his ATRA Masters Program and received his Master Certified Plaque. ATRA recently contacted Ricardo to find out more about him. See below:

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE TRANSMISSION INDUSTRY: I have about 35 years of working both automatic and manual transmissions.

WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO WORK ON TRANSMISSIONS: I am an automotive technician I lean towards transmissions because I like it a lot.

POSITION: I work at the NISSAN Costa Rica dealer in charge of the diagnostic and repair transmission department.

FAVORITE TRANSMISSION TO WORK ON: I don’t have a favorite transmission to repair, I actually like all of them. Each one is a different challenge.
