Javier Alvarado recently completed his ATRA Masters Program and received his Master Certified Plaque. ATRA recently contacted Javier to find out more about him. See below:

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE TRANSMISSION INDUSTRY?: I have been working in the automatic transmission business for about 20 years.

WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO WORK ON TRANSMISSIONS?: I decided to take this career because I know it is an industry with high potential for self-improvement, as well as being a highly specialized technical field.

POSITION: My position in the company is workshop manager and repair manager.

FAVORITE TRANSMISSION TO WORK ON OR OTHER FAVORITE THINGS : The transmissions that have always been to my greatest liking since the beginning are the ZF, however, working on transmissions such as Aisin warner, CVT, among others, are always to my liking as well.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO MENTION?: We also know that every year we have to be in constant analysis of new transmission technologies.
