Scribner Plastics announces Relocation

Rotational molder Scribner Plastics(SP), founded in 1978 in Northern California has announced its relocation to Victoria Texas. The long-planned relocation is to become more centrally located to their customer base as well as proximity to the shipping port of Houston for their export customers.

SP acquired a 5-acre industrial parcel to build a duplicate factory with room for future expansion. The first of several machines installed is a new Ferry rotational machine with a 120” swing. Other existing machines are being relocated to the Texas factory. The current California factory is now closed. All current employees have been offered relocation incentives.

SP specializes in reusable shipping containers for the automotive industry. SP containers are an industry standard for shipping engines, transmissions and heavy components. OEM’s, rebuilders and professional race teams utilize SP containers. SP also has several custom customers sending their molds to Texas to stay with the molder they enjoy and trust.
